・Octarians in the Crater? YIKES! is a tutorial Stage, so you can only choose the Hero Gear to complete it. ・The Hero Gear has a high fire rate but short range, so be sure to keep a safe distance when attempting to splat enemies. ・The Sub Weapon for this stage, Small Fry, can be used to reach items and attack enemies from a distance. |
You receive 500 Power Eggs Upon completing Sink into the Ink and Swim! for the first time.

Sink into the Ink and Swim! allows you to practice using swim mode, which allows you to move along ink faster while you are an Inkling. Staying in swim mode allows you to complete the stage very quickly while collecting Power Eggs with ease.
Jump through the orange rings that you see throughout the game to get bonus Power Eggs. You don't need to be an Inkling to grab them, but it's much easier doing so.

Continuing along the ink trail will just cause you to go in circles, so make sure to stop and land on the middle platform near the top and ink the wall on the wall on the right to proceed.
