Anonymous over 4 yearsWhile Beleth does take damage from lightning, he isn't immune to shields. Just deck out 1 or 2 characters as Vanguards, and make sure you have a Healer or some kind. Attack Beleth with the Lv2 Vanguard ability Shield Bash, and it will take full damage from each swing. Heal up as needed. If you want to get nutty, give the Vanguard the Drain Attack ability (Level 9, White Mage) and let them heal themselves.

Drain Attack doesn't work with abilities, just the Attack option. Using a shield is better than nothing though, and like most enemies, it can be poisioned for additional damage each turn.
