Whispering Depths Map and Points of Interest

In Baldur's Gate 3 (BG3), the Whispering Depths is a dungeon located below the Blighted Village, and is an entrance to the Underdark. Read on to view the map of Whispering Depths and to find out all the points of interest in these areas.

The Whispering Depths is located below the Blighted Village, accessible from a few different entrances in that area. This dungeon is full of spider enemies and is one of the entrances to the Underdark.

The Whispering Depths Waypoint is located at the other side from the entrances of the Whispering Depths.

One of the many entrances to the Underdark is located in the Whispering Depths, in the chasm area near where the Phase Spider Matriarch is.

Note that to you'll have to jump from a very high place, and will die unless you have access to effects that let you survive great heights, such as the Feather Fall spell.

Blacksmith's Forge Cracked Wall (North)

The Blacksmith's Forge is one of the sub-areas of the Blighted Village. One of the entrances to the Whispering Depths is in this area, near the Melting Furnace, and can be found with a perception check. Simply attack the Cracked Wall to destroy it.

In the same Blacksmith's Forge area, there's another Cracked Wall in the upper floor of the room. Jump to it (you can go on the crates first) and attack the wall to reveal the entrance.

There's a Well in the middle of the Blighted Village that you can climb down into to reach the Whispering Depths. Inside the dungeon, you'll see the exit as the Well Bucket.

The Dark Amethyst can be found at the area below the webs that the Phase Matriarch Spider is patrolling on.

A rare potion, the Potion of Invisibility, can be found in one of the Spider Silk Cocoons in the area.

At the south part of the dungeon, you'll find a room. Open the Heavy Chest in the room to get the Spiderstep Boots, which is a very useful equipment to have in this dungeon.

Phase Spider Matriarch

The boss enemy of this dungeon is the Phase Spider Matriarch, a powerful enemy that can teleport around the battlefield and summon tiny spiders from the eggs around the area.

Make sure to be prepared when you enter this dungeon! Sneaking around to destroy the eggs before starting the battle is a good idea so the boss can't summon spiders from them. She'll drop a Poisoner's Robe upon defeat.
