Baldur

Players can go to the Camp in Baldur's Gate 3 (BG3) from the Map Screen or from the character interface. Check out our guide to learn how to go to the Camp, as well as all the features the Camp area can offer your party.

How to Get to the Camp

Travel from the Map Menu

Baldur

Access the Map Menu in-game by pressing M in your keyboard. From there, choose the Camp option from the list of Waypoints on the right side of your screen to fast travel to the Camp.

Access the Camp Menu From Your Character Interface

Baldur

Alternatively, players can go to the Camp via their character interface. Select the Camp and Resting Menu (signified by the bonefire icon) and choose the Go to Camp option to arrive at your Camp.

Long Resting is Not Required to Go to Camp

Baldur

Do note that players are not required to take a Long Rest in order to go to their Camp. You can come and go freely since your camp functions as your shared inventory space and as a hub for a lot of the companion interactions in the game.

All Camp Features

Allows You to Perform a Long Rest

Baldur

The Camp allows your party to perform a Long Rest. When performing a Long Rest, your party will fully replenish their hit points as well as any spent spell slots. To take a full Long Rest, you will need to spend 40 Camp Supplies.

How to Use a Long Rest

Provides a Traveler's Chest for Storage

Baldur

The Camp also provides players with a Traveler's Chest. This is a handy storage chest that you can send your items back to in order to avoid being encumbered while out adventuring. Essentially, it is a limitless storage area that you can use to hide extra weapons, armor, or explosive barrels in should you choose to do so.

Unlocks Companion Interactions

Baldur

Going to camp will also allow you to better interact with you companions. After certain points of the game or after performing Long Rests, some companions will have unique dialogue options that can only be viewed in Camp.
