Inviting Yenna to Camp Leads to Her Abduction by Orin

Baldur

If you let Yenna seek shelter at your camp, she will later be kidnapped by Orin. These are the known scenarios that will lead to this:

  • The first one is where you meet Gortash at Wyrm's Rock Fortress. He'll inform you that there is an impostor at your camp. Once you go to camp, you'll find Orin disguised as Yenna and that she's taken the child in her custody.
  • The second one happens while exploring the sewers of the Emperor's Old Hideout. You'll run into Yenna seemingly running away from Orin, but turns out to be the latter in disguise and informs you that she's kidnapped Yenna.
  • The third one occurs after one of your companions gets taken away by Orin. After this, don't go to the hideout sewers and take a Long Rest at camp. The missing companion (who is actually Orin) will appear and hold Yenna hostage saying that Yenna is the shapeshifter. You'll have to pass an Intimidation or Persuasion check to set her free, otherwise Yenna dies.

All of these segments will let you begin the Rescue Orin's Victim side quest which involves freeing Yenna under the condition that you kill Gortash.

If You Decline, Yenna Will Still Get Kidnapped

Baldur

If you don't let Yenna stay at your camp, she will still remain there and would still be kidnapped by Orin through the same scenarios such as Gortash's warning, and your interaction with Orin in the sewers and at the camp.

How to Find Yenna

Encountered Upon Arriving in Rivington During Act 3

Baldur

Yenna is first encountered early on in Act 3 upon your arrival in Rivington. She'll ask if you've seen her mother around. You can be nice to her by sparing her a few coins and offer some food, or you can completely ignore her. Regardless of what you say to her, she'll still appear at your camp later on.

If you repeatedly turn yenna away with the most brutal dialogue options until you have completed the Orin quest, you can then allow her to stay with her never having to have suffered the trauma of encountering orin.
