There are several interactables, regions, points of interests, and and areas you can explore in Baldur's Gate 3 (BG3). Read on to see a list of all maps, regions, and locations, and every valuable items and equipment you can find in every region in the game!

The Nautiloid is the starting area of the game, and the setting of the Prologue. Once you exit the ship to progress the story, it will become a wreckage and will no longer be accessible.

The Wilderness is the crash site of the Nautiloid ship, and is where most of Act 1 of the game takes place. This area connects to many dungeons and consists of many sub-areas.

The player starts at the southwest part of the Wilderness area. This part of the Wilderness contains the Nautiloid wreckage and the Chapel Ruins. A lot of companions can be recruited here.
This map consists of the Wilderness area surrounding the Emerald Grove, as well as the Owlbear Nest entrances.
The Chapel Ruins is a dungeon that consists of the Refectory and Dank Crypt areas, and can be accessed through a few different entrances in the Wilderness.

The Refectory is the first area of the Chapel Ruins, and is full of bandits hoping to get to the treasure in the crypt. There's nothing much of value in this area.
The Dank Crypt is an area located deeper into the Chapel Ruins, with lots of traps and locked doors. There are a lot of valuable items and unlockables in this area.

Located at the northeast portion of the Wilderness area, the Emerald Grove is a gated area home to tieflings and druids. There are a lot of questlines that start in this area.

The Owlbear Nest is a dungeon that can be found in the Forest area, located west of Emerald Grove. An Owlbear and its cub resides inside this dungeon.

The Blighted Village is a gated area home to goblins and other monsters. There are a couple of entrances from this area to the Whispering Depths.

The Whispering Depths is a dungeon located beneath the Blighted Village, and is full of spider enemies. It contains one of the entrances to the Underdark.

The Putrid Bog is located south of the Blighted Village, and first appears as the Sunlit Wetlands, a beautiful swamp filled with flourishing plants and peaceful animals.
When you dispel the illusion casted on the area by Auntie Ethel, the area will be revealed to be the Putrid Bog, a swamp full of rot and death.

The Overgrown Tunnel is the dungeon located underneath the Putrid Bog, and is where you'll be able to fight Auntie Ethel after she retreats upon confronting her in the Gnarled Teahouse.
It also contains one of the entrances to the Underdark.

The Underdark is a large underground area with a lot of entrances from certain locations in the aboveground. It is home to Myconids, Druegar bandits, and grotesque monsters.

The Arcane Tower is the tower located at the southmost part of the main Underdark area. Pictured above is its first floor, but the tower has many other floors with a lot of puzzles and valuables inside.

You'll find The Risen Road area by going north from the Blighted Village, across the broken bridge. It is a mountainous area, where you'll find a lot of corpses and hostile Gnolls.
In the northwest part of the Risen Road, you'll find the Waukeen's Rest area, which contains the entrance to the Zhentarim Hideout.

The Zhentarim Basement is the location of the Zhentarim Hideout, and can be found underneath Waukeen's Rest in the Risen Road. This hideout contains one of the entrances to the Underdark.

The Goblin Camp is a gated area home to goblins and drow elves who worship the Absolute. There are a few different ways to enter the camp; the front entrance has goblins guarding it and will let you pass if you choose the correct dialogue and pass the checks, or if you have rescued Sazza in the Emerald Grove.
The Goblin Camp has a few sub-areas, most important being the Shattered Sanctum located beneath the outer camp.

North of the Goblin Camp area, you'll find the doors to the Shattered Sanctum. The three goblin leaders are inside this area, which you can kill for completion of the Defeat the Goblins quest.
How to Infiltrate the Shattered Sanctum
The Mountain Pass is divided into the Rosymorn Monastery Trail and the Rosymorn Monastery itself. It contains the passage to the Githyanki Creche, as well as one of the passages to the Moonrise Towers of Act 2.

The Rosymorn Monastery Trail is where you'll arrive after entering the Mountain Pass from either the Goblin Camp or Waukeen's Rest. You'll find the passage to the Shadow-Cursed Lands here.
How to Get to the Shadow-Cursed Lands
The Rosymorn Monastery is a ruined monastery full of various hostile monsters. Deep inside this area, you'll find the entrance to the Creche Y'llek.
Where to Find the Githyanki Crèche
Creche Y'llek is an underground area home to githyankis, and is one of the places that you can attempt to remove the tadpole in your head as part of the Find the Cure quest.
Here, you'll also be able to talk to Vlaakith, the queen of the githyankis, through her Inquisitor located deep inside the creche.

The Grymforge is an area deep in the Underdark, accessible by boarding the Druegar boat south of the main Underdark region.
The Abandoned Refuge is the main area of the Grymforge, and is where you'll find the True Soul Nere, the druegar working for him, and the gnomes that they have enslaved.

The Adamantine Forge is a region located deep in the Grymforge. In this area, you'll be able to craft the powerful Adamantine items.
How to Find and Activate the Adamantine Forge
The Shadow-Cursed Lands is where most of the game's Act 2 takes place. A Shadow Curse affects most of the area, periodically damaging any character that doesn't have protection against the curse.

The Ruined Battlefield is the open area that you'll arrive in upon entering the Shadow-Cursed Lands, whether you enter through the Grymforge or the Mountain Pass. There are many shadow creatures that will ambush you throughout this area.
The Last Light Inn is a location located to the northwest of the Ruined Battlefield; there's a barrier around this area that keeps you safe from the Shadow Curse.
You may find a lot of the characters that you have encountered in Act 1, such as the tieflings from Emerald Grove if you managed to keep them alive.
How to Get to Last Light Inn
Reithwin Town is the town in the Shadow-Cursed Lands that you need to pass through to get to the Moonrise Towers, Gauntlet of Shar, and the Road to Baldur's Gate.
Ketheric Thorm's three family members can be found in this town, and serve as powerful boss enemies that can also be tricked to die by passing dialogue checks.
