What is Charisma?
Confidence, Charm and Communicaiton
Charisma measures a characters ability to interact with others. It affects your character's conversation skills in the game and whether they can successfully lie, persuade, or intimidate others into taking actions.
Appears Often in Dialogue
Chrarisma, and Charisma based skills will often appear in dialogue choices through out Baldur's Gate 3.
Charisma Based Skills
| Skill | Description |
|---|---|
| Deception | How well you can lie or hide the truth, both verbally or otherwise. |
| Persuasion | Attempting to influence someone or a group of people with tact, social graces, or good nature. |
| Intimidation | Attempting to influence someone through overt threats, hostile actions, and physical violence. |
| Performance | How well you can play music, dance, act, or do some other form of entertainment. |

Charisma is the main stat for Sorcerers, Bards and Warlocks and a secondary main stat for Paladins.
Primary Casting Ability
Paladins, Bards, Sorcerers and Warlocks all use Charisma as their primary spellcasting ability . The higher the Charisma score, the harder their spells will hit, and the harder it will be for enemies to resist spell effects.
