Releases on August 3 for PC

Baldur's Gate 3 PC version releases on August 3, 2023, almost a month earlier than the projected release date on August 31, 2023. You can play the full game on Windows on its release, but not on Mac, as it isn't fully supported yet.

Early Access is Available on PC

Players who want to experience the game before its release can purchase and play it on Steam and GOG. Additionally, players who bought it during its early access stage will get a free upgrade to the Digital Deluxe edition when the full game comes out. It means everyone eligible will get access to all the bonuses from the Digital Deluxe edition!

Note that the Digital Deluxe edition for PC won't have the 3-Day early access bonus as it will be released a month earlier, and it's already in the early access stage on PC.

Coming out on September 6 for PS5

Baldur's Gate 3 PS5 version is coming out on September 6, 2023, a week later than the original intended date on August 31, 2023. The reason for the delay is to ensure that the game can run at 60 FPS without encountering any issues, according to Larian Studios in their Community Update #20.

Pre-Order Digital Deluxe Edition to Get 3-Day Early Access

You can get a 72-hour early access to the Act I of the game if you pre-order the Digital Deluxe edition. It means you can play and progress in the game as early as September 3, 2023! Note that this bonus only applies to players on PS5.

Currently Unavailable for Other Consoles

Baldur's Gate 3 is unavailable on other console platforms and will only release on PS5. However, Larian Studios has a plan on releasing it on Xbox, specifically on Xbox Series X, but it would need more time to ensure that it will run smoothly there!
