To get inside Cazador's Palace, make your way up the city wall near the Lower City Central Wall waypoint. You can jump up using the wooden platform if your characters are able to, or you can use mobility spells like Misty Step.
Follow the linear path inside and climb up the ladder where you will be greeted by some guards. You can intimidate or deceive them to proceed. Continue heading inside until you reach the Szarr Palace Ramparts.
Once inside the Szarr Palace, go straight and you'll find a Sinister Door. To open this door, you need to find a Kozakuran Dictionary and get a Szarr Family Ring. Both of these items are found on the lower floor so head down the stairs to the south.
After heading downstairs, you'll find a room that emits dark magic. Open the door but be careful of the cursed corpse. Use a mobility spell like Fly or Misty Step to get to open the dresser at the opposite end of the room. Have one of your characters read the Kozakuran Dictionary inside the dresser.
You can use Remove Curse on the corpse to safely open the chest nearby, allowing you to loot a Helmet of Grit inside.
Head outside the room and go straight until you pass a Perception check and reveal an illusory door on the wall.
Inside is a skeleton named Godey. You'll have to convince him to give you a Szarr Family Ring through some dialogue. This item will be able to open all the locked doors inside Cazador's Dungeon.
Go back to the Sinister Door, but make sure you're ready to fight. You'll encounter several werewolves, as well as some bats and rats.
Prepare your AoE attacks like Fireball or even Smokepowder Bombs as they will be helpful for thinning out the mobs of enemies.
After the battle, go inside the Office Hall to the southwest, just beside the Sinister Door. You'll find a Dais to your right which will take you down to Cazador's Dungeon.
After descending, you'll unlock the Cazador's Dungeon waypoint. Cazador is located straight up north, but you may want to make a detour to a secret room and get the Pelorsun Blade, which is effective against him. If you have a character who can wield a Rapier, the Pelorsun Blade is worth seeking out.
Head to the first room to the west after descending from the dais. You'll eventually reach the skull of Vellioth where you can find out the history of Cazador's ritual.
Loot the gilded chest and go down under the bridge you just crossed. You might have to use some mobility skills or Feather Fall to get down safely.
Once you're under the bridge, head east and you'll find a Rosewood Casket. Disarm it and you can take the Pelorsun Blade inside. Go back to where the dais is and prepare to fight Cazador.
If you can't get back up the bridge, there are crates nearby that you can stack to help you with elevation so you can jump back up.
Before you head north to take on Cazador, prepare Daylight if you have it, or attacks that deal Radiant damage like Branding Smite. Cazador will take damage every turn from Daylight, and he is also vulnerable to Radiant damage.
AoE attacks and spells are also useful for this fight as Cazador will have several minions helping him out.
If you have Astarion in your party and you initiate dialogue with Cazador, he will shackle Astarion for the ritual and you'll have to free him or else you'll be fighting with one member down.
To get around this, leave Astarion a few ways back and initiate dialogue with your other characters. You can then start combat and have Astarion join in late so you can fight with a full party.
If you are going to let Astarion join the battle late, you can persuade Cazador to let you turn in Astarion. He'll trust you and then turn his back. You can take this opportunity to position your characters to get the jump on him.
When you're ready, cast Daylight to start combat. If you've positioned your characters correctly, you should be able to deal a decent chunk of damage or even burst him down before he can use Misty Escape and reposition.
The Helmet of Grit is found inside the chest beside the cursed corpse of Victoria, inside Cazador's Palace. Use Remove Curse to dispel the curse and safely open the chest.

Woe Weapon Guide and How to Get
If you allow Astarion to carry on with the ritual, he will obtain new abilities: Ascendant Bite and Misty Escape. He also gains a Necrotic damage bonus on attack rolls. However, this comes at the cost of thousands of lives.
With his newfound power, Astarion's personality and demeanor will also change for the remainder of the game.
If you're a Paladin, you'll also break your oath. If you don't intend to become an Oathbreaker Paladin or don't want to go through the trouble of reclaiming your oath, you might want to stop Astarion from performing the ritual.
