Save Ink Storm for the Final Section

The final section of the stage puts on a platform, high above the enemy Octolings. The Ink Storm special weapon that you pick up in this stage can be used to effectively splat multiple Octolings at once, so we recommend saving it until you reach this section.

Bet You Mist Us! Tips and Advice

Use Smallfry to Bait Enemies

Toss Smallfry into an area you deem suspicious.

Doing so will draw out enemies, allowing you to easily splat them.

The enemies hiding in the mist can be baited out by tossing Smallfry in the area. If you have any trouble pinpointing the location of the enemies in this stage, use Smallfry to draw them out.

Attack From Above

Always attack from above whenever you can, as it allows you to easily see the enemy's movements, and reduces the overall damage that you take.

Take Note of the Octoling's Weapons

The Octolings in this stage will use a variety of weapons, which will affect their movement and attack patterns. Make sure to identify each Octoling's weapons from a distance before attacking, taking particular note of the Roller and Slosher weapons that appear.
