For years, this scholar has been working to achieve his lifelong dream—reaching mutual understanding with plant life.

Friend to All Pikmin is unlocked after rescuing Francois and interacting with him at the Rescue Command Post. He will be the 6th castaway you'll find and rescue from caves.

How to Get Francois

Get 30 Raw Materials as Reward

The side mission Friend to All Pikmin will reward you with 30 Raw Materials upon completion. This side mission can be repeated, so you can keep doing it to farm raw materials.

Friend to All Pikmin Objective

Grow the Pikmin Population to 300

Pikmin 4 - Pikmin Population

To complete the Friend to All Pikmin side mission, you'll need to grow your Pikmin population to 300. This can be accomplished by repeatedly having Oatchi or Pikmin collect pellets, and bringing them to your base.

This side mission is repeatable and can be used to farm raw materials.
