Focus in the West Area in the First Half Move to the East Area in the Second Half Only Freeze the Water to Collect Treasure Defeat Enemies While Unfrozen When Aiming for Platinum Let Oatchi Learn Super Buff Lvl. 3

Focus in the West Area in the First Half

Collect Pikmin and Treasures in the western half during the first half. Be wary of the floating jellyfish enemy as they eat Yellow Pikmin. They can easily be defeated by freezing them with Ice Pikmin.

Move to the East Area in the Second Half

After you've finished with the western half of the arena, move your base to the eastern area and continue working there. Let Purple Pikmin carry the heavy treasures back to the S.S. Beagle, leaving the Yellow and Ice Pikmin with digging and wall-breaking tasks to get the most out of your Pikmin squad.

Recommended to Have at least 10 Purple Pikmin

1 Purple Pikmin has the strength of 10 Pikmin, making it useful for carrying heavy treasure and for combat when thrown.

Only Freeze the Water to Collect Treasure

Collect the Ice Pikmin freezing the water in the early stages when you're not gonna collect the treasures yet in the area. Only freeze the water when you'er planning on collecting the treasure.

Defeat Enemies While Unfrozen When Aiming for Platinum

When aiming for Platinum, you need to defeat the purple enemy near the watermelon treasure without freezing it. Defeating it while frozen will shatter its body, making you unable to collect it for points.

Let Oatchi Learn Super Buff Lvl. 3

Making Oatchi learn Super Buff and upgrading it to Lvl. 3 is a game changer since he can carry the watermelon, which requires 100 Pikmin to carry, all by himself! You can use 10 Purple Pikmin as another way, but it'd be better for them to do other tasks.
