You need to deal as much damage as you can before Burrowing Snagret digs back down. We recommend bringing along Red Pikmin for the damage and Ice Pikmin to give yourself few more seconds of opening to attack.

Attack When Burrowing Snagret’s Beak Gets Stuck on the Ground

Bait Burrowing Snagret into getting its beak stuck in the ground by riding Oatchi and running around in front of it. While doing this, build up your Rush gauge.

When its feathers start to shake, it will slam its beak hard on the ground, giving you a few seconds of opening to 'rush' in and launch your Pikmin on its head.

Use Bomb Rocks When It Emerges From the Ground

When it burrows, equip a Bomb Rock and wait for it to emerge. As it digs itself back up, throw the bomb towards it. This deals damage and will send it back underground. Repeat until you beat Burrowing Snagret or when your Bomb Rocks run out.

DalmoDalmo's Log Instead of the sky, this scaly anomaly flies through the ground. When it pops its head to the surface, the way its crown of feathers fluffs—though intended to make it more intimidating—is delightful to behold. But be wary of lingering to gaze up at it, as you'll likely get the poking of a lifetime from that long, sharp beak!
OlimarOlimar's Log The majority of Snagret species lie in wait to ambush and capture prey, with a body type perfectly adapted to such sudden strikes. It violently attacks small, surface-dwelling insects.
Distributed across a relatively wide range, subspecies of Snagret suited to the varying soil conditions have emerged, making the Snagret the most geographically represented species besides the Bulborb.
Visually resembling the Burrowing Snagret is the Burrowing Snarrow, the range of which partially overlaps with the Snagret's range. While the two may appear similar, when pulled from the ground, they can be distinguised by the presence or absence of tail and wing markings.
