Freeze Deep Mud With Ice

You can freeze the darker deep mud using an Ice Blast so you can cross it. You can also use Ice Pikmin, although you'll need 100 of them to freeze the ones in The Mud Pit.

Be careful when using the Ice Blast since you only have around 8 seconds before the ice melts. You won't want to get stuck in the middle of the mud.

If your character or Oatchi tries to go through the deeper mud, they'll be able to swim a short distance before being teleported back to land.

Causes Pikmin to Drown

Nearly all Pikmin, except the Ice Pikmin, will drown when thrown in deep mud. Even the Blue Pikmin can't swim in these murky waters!
