The 24th Castaway You'll Rescue

Pikmin 4 - Castaway Rescue

Nelle is the 24th castaway you'll rescue in Pikmin 4. As you explore different caves, you'll find unconscious castaways to rescue. They will be unidentifiable when found, and their identity will be revealed after you end the day. You unlock characters in a specific order regardless of where you find the castaways.

Required for Cure Oatchi Main Mission

A uniquely talented veterinarian at the top of her field. She's here with Don Bergman and crew in pursuit of treasure.

Nelle is one of the characters you'll need to rescue to advance the Cure Oatchi main mission. The mission is automatically unlocked after completing the Rescue Olimar mission and finishing the main story. Cure Oatchi main mission is the start of your follow-up journey for the game's true ending!

Unlocks Cavern for a King Cave

Acquiring Nelle also unlocks the Cavern for a King cave. This is the deepest cave in the game and spans 20 sublevels full of puzzles, enemies, and treasures. Completing this cave will also unlock a new character, Louie.
