Let Oatchi Deal With Smaller Enemies
The only real threat in this stage is the gigantic Baldy Long Legs. As long as Oatchi is equipped with Scorch Guard, he can take both the Desiccated Skitter Leaves and Pyroclasmic Slooches.
You can leave Oatchi on Lumiknoll guard duty while you hunt down the Baldy Long Legs!
Use Glowmob on Baldy Long Legs
Your Glow Pikmin won't reach the Baldy Long Legs' body in time if you just lob them. This would cause them to crawl up its legs and put them at risk of being stomped.
Once you encounter the Baldy Long Legs, ready your Glowmob and release it right below the enemy so most of your Glow Pikmin will go directly for its body.
