Command is a skill in Pikmin 4 that Oatchi can get to help you during your exploration! Learn how to unlock Command, its effects at each level, as well as the Pup Drive costs!
This skill teaches Oatchi to track down different things, as well as help with other tasks. Learn more about what Commands are available in training.

Once Oatchi learns Command Lv. 2, you can now press A anywhere on the map to use "Go Here" and automatically move there. It also enables you to command Oatchi to come to you or send him back to the base.
At level 3, you can command Oatchi to gather any stray or idle Pikmin. This will let you focus on assigning Pikmin tasks and have Oatchi call the ones that are far away and done already.
Oatchi already knows level 1 of the Command skill from the start of the game. This is one of Oatchi's base skills.
| Level | Pup Drive | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | - | With this, Oatchi learns to distinguish scents so he can search for things like castaways, treasure, and rare Pikmin. |
| 2 | 3 | Use this skill to tell your partner to go to your base or to call them to you. It also enables Go Here on the Radar Map. |
| 3 | 3 | If you get lost or you just need more of them, you can direct Oatchi to gather Pikmin for you when he learns this skill. |
