Olimar's Shipwreck Tale is a post-game side story in Pikmin 4 where you relive Olimar's adventure after he crashes into PNF-404! Learn where to find Moss and all 30 ship part locations, as well as how to unlock the Shipwreck Tale and its rewards!

Olimar's Shipwreck Tale Interactive Map
Interactive Map
The Interactive Map both shows the location of key points on the map, and doubles as a collectible checker.
- Click an icon on the right side to show all the pins of a specific type, or click the magnifying glass button to search for a specific pin by name.
- Click a pin on the map to see its name and description, and a relevant picture or video if available.
- From here, click Mark as Discovered to indicate that you've gotten a collectible already. This will change its icon on the map to show that it has been collected.
- To undo this, click on the same pin and click Restore to Undiscovered.

| 2 |  Above a drawer guarded by a Snootwhacker. You can reach it through a tunnel hidden behind some jars located north. Oatchi will not be able to go with you so you have to distract the Snootwhacker with other Pikmin to transport the ship part. |

| 5 |  On a counter that can be reached after building a clay ramp. A Hydro Dweevil is hiding beneath it, so make sure to defeat it first before carrying the ship part back. |

| 7 |  Inside the open bunker that you can reach via a moving platform. |
Where to Find Moss in Olimar's Shipwreck Tale
North of Blossoming Arcadia's First Base
Moss is located north of the first base in Blossoming Arcadia, past the climbing wall near a bonfire altar.
You will need to use Red Pikmin to grab the fire starter from the bonfire altar and throw at a bunch of straws and the straw wall south of the area. This creates a shortcut near the base which will allow you to send in Pikmin to build the climbing wall faster.

There are only two onions in Olimar's Shipwreck Tale. One Yellow Onion can be found at the eastern side of Sun-Speckled Terrace and one Blue Onion can be found at the southwestern corner of Blossoming Arcadia.

Spend the First Day in Each Area Defeating Enemies and Clearing Obstacles
It is recommended to use the first day to clear the area of enemies and obstacles. This will make it easier for you to find and collect all the parts within the 15 day time limit.
Use Nectar to Make the Pikmin Move Faster
Always make sure to use any nectar that you can find to make your Pikmin move faster. This makes finding and transporting Ship Parts much faster. You can also use the Ultra-Spicy Spray to achieve the same effect.
Find Eggs to Get Nectar
One way to find nectar is to find and break eggs. The eggs will drop nectar which you can use to increase your Pikmin's movement speed.
Obtain the Flarlics First in Each Location
Flarlics increase the maximum number of Pikmins that you can deploy. Focus on finding these first as this allows you to assign more tasks of your Pikmin.
Get Moss Before Exploring Blossoming Arcadia
On you reach Blossoming Arcadia, make sure to find Moss first on the north of the first base. Having Moss makes it easier for you to defeat enemies and break pots without using Bomb Rocks.
Dig Dirt Mounds
Dirt mounds in Olimar's Shipwreck Tale contain useful items such as Bomb Rocks and Ice Blasts. You can use these items to destroy obstacles to reach certain Ship Parts.
Use Items Only On Strong Enemies
Use items sparingly against strong enemies in order to defeat them as fast as possible.

In Hero's Hideaway, there is bunker that requires you to collect 3 playing cards to solve the code. The code for the bunker is randomized, so it will be different for every player.
Complete Leafy Showdown Dandori Battle
Inside the bunker, you can find a cave that leads to the Leafy Showdown Dandori Battle. Defeat the red Leafling that resembles Olimar to bring him back to the Rescue Command Post.
Complete a Night Expedition to Cure Olimar
To cure Olimar of his Leafling status, you need to complete one Night Expedition to obtain a glow sap. Give the cure to Olimar to complete the main story and see the first ending of the game.
Talk to Olimar
After returning to the Rescue Command Post, you will find Olimar next to his ship south of the map. Talk to him and ask to tell his tale to start the Olimar's Shipwreck Tale challenge.
Olimar's Shipwreck Tale Rewards
Unlock the Trial of the Sage Leaf
Completing Olimar's Shipwreck Tale will unlock the Trial of the Sage Leaf, a series of special Dandori Challenges, right within the Rescue Command Post!
This trial is where you get the White Onion and Purple Onion, with the former being a reward for completing the fifth stage and the latter for completing the last.
