Pikmin 4 - Character Creation and Customization
Character creation and customization in Pikmin 4 is a first in the series. You can now create your very own space explorerーwith a variety of looks and colors to choose fromーalongside a name for your ID Badge.

How to Unlock Character Creator

Complete the Tutorial

Pikmin 4 - Complete the Tutorial

The first time you can change your character's apperance is after you complete the tutorial mission with Olimar. After doing so, you won't be able to change the way you look for a while until after you've rescued Puddle.

Rescue Puddle

Pikmin 4 - Character Creation Update Look

To permanently have the option to change your character's appearance, you need to rescue a castaway named Puddle. He is the 9th castaway you can rescue in one of the caves in the game.

After rescuing him, he will stay in the Rescue Command Post where you can talk to him and change your look.

There are eight skin colors to choose from in the character creation menu.

There are four preset physiques to choose from in the next menu.

Face

Pikmin 4 - Face Presets
There are 10 face presets to choose from. Note that face options are different depending on which physique you choose in the previous menu.

Hair

Pikmin 4 - Hair Presets
There are six hair presets to choose from and much like the face presents, these differ depending on the physique that was selected in the previous menu.

Hair Color

All Available Hair Colors
Pikmin 4 - Hair Color Red
Pikmin 4 - Hair Color Yellow
Pikmin 4 - Hair Color Green
Pikmin 4 - Hair Color Blue
Pikmin 4 - Hair Color Purple
Pikmin 4 - Hair Color Pink

You can choose up to six hair colors in the character creation menu. These include red, yellow, green, blue, purple, and pink.

Suit Color

All Available Suit Colors
Pikmin 4 - Suit Color Red
Pikmin 4 - Suit Color Orange
Pikmin 4 - Suit Color Green
Pikmin 4 - Suit Color Blue
Pikmin 4 - Suit Color Purple
Pikmin 4 - Suit Color Pink

There are six suit colors that you can choose in the character customization menu. These colors include red, orange, green, blue, purple, and pink.

Name

Pikmin 4 - Name

You can use at least 10 characters to input your name in this menu. Letters, numbers, and special characters can be used.
