Make Oatchi swim by bringing him near water to nearly drown and wait for Shepherd to train him how to swim after two in-game days! Learn how to make Oatchi swim, the effects of his skill Doggy-Paddle, as well as its Pup Drive costs!
How to Make Oatchi Swim
Learned 2 Days After Oatchi Nearly Drowns
You can make Oatchi swim by bringing him to the water while he doesn't know how to. He'll nearly drown if you do so but don't worry since Shepherd will teach him the Doggy-Paddle skill after two in-game days!
Doggy-Paddle Effects
Allows Oatchi to Swim
This skill allows Oatchi to swim. Any Pikmin on Oatchi will also stay dry while crossing the water. If you level up the skill in training, he'll be able to swim faster and do more things in the water.
Level 3 Allows Oatchi to Dive
Reaching Level 3 doesn't improve Oatchi's swimming speed further, but it does let him dive underwater just like Blue Pikmin! Maxing out the skill allows him to attack enemies and transport items in the water.

| 3 | 2 | When Oatchi dives, he can transport treasure from below the surface and bite underwater creatures too! |
