Multi-task and Be Efficient
This scenario requires speed and efficiency. Make sure to always have multiple tasks ongoing at the same time. Also, when throwing Pikmin, be careful to always throw the exact amount needed for the task.
Collect White and Purple Pikmin First
To help with efficiency, you will need the maximum number of Pikmin available immediately. Collect them as soon as the scenario starts. Break the vases and move the pumpkin as soon as possible to get the White Pikmin, and use the flower in the north to create Purple Pikmin.
Prioritize Removing Obstacles
You don't want to be in a position where Pikmin aren't moving because something is in their way. Aside from collecting Pikmin, another priority should be removing all the obstacles. Use Purple Pikmin to remove the box, bag, and pot out of the way, and use the White Pikmin to remove the poison mushrooms.
Use Oatchi to Carry Large Treasures
Don't forget that you can use Oatchi to accomplish tasks as well. Utilize Oatchi to carry large treasures that a single Purple Pikmin cannot move. He has the Swallow ability that will allow him to efficiently carry large treasures such as the Pumpkin and the Dragon Fruit.
Use Purple Pikmin to Carry Treasures
Most treasures in this story have a weight of 10. Thus, they can be carried by a single Purple Pikmin whose strength is equal to that of 10 Pikmin. Utilize them in this way to avoid wasting too many Pikmin on certain tasks.
Use White Pikmin for Gold Pieces
The White Pikmin, on the other hand, can only have a strength of 1 in terms of carrying treasures. They will be more efficient if used to carry gold pieces to avoid wasting the Purple Pikmin's and Oatchi's superior carrying strength.
Use Idler's Alert Gear
You have several gear at your disposal in this scenario, so don't forget to utilize them as well. One important gear you should utilize as much as you can is the Idler's Alert. This gear will call all idle Pikmin back to you to avoid wasting time collecting them manually.
8th Story: Crowded Kitchen Location
Found at the Rescue Command Post
All trials of the Sage Leaf can be found when you enter the cave in the north part of the Rescue Command Post.
This cave is unlocked after finishing Olimar's Shipwreck Tale.
