Pikmin 4 - How to Build Bridges, Walls, and Ramps (Clay Constructs)
Players can build clay constructs, bridges, walls, and ramps, in Pikmin 4 by processing Raw Materials into Clay. Read this guide for a more detailed explanation of this mechanic.

Interactive Map with Surface Clay Constructs

The interactive map above shows the different surface level clay constructs per area. You can also find out how much raw materials are required per clay construct by simply clicking each icon to show its details.

Icon How to Use
Name Button Show Names
This button reveals the Name of every icon currently shown.
Show Pins Button Show Pins
This button will toggle between showing and hiding all the pins that you have already marked as acquired.
Full Button Fullscreen
This button will change the map display to fill the screen.
Search Button Search Mode Toggle
This button will display a search bar which you can use to search for an individual pin by its name.
Icon Mode Button Icon Mode Toggle
In Search Mode, this button will toggle you back to Icon Mode, removing the search bar and displaying the icons again.
All Pins Button All Pins
This button is shown along with the Icons on the right when there are over 6 types of pins. Click it for a full selection of all available pin types.
Interactive Map Counter Counter
Tracks the number of pins you have of a certain type. The pin type shown is set to the page and currently cannot be changed; however, all pin type counters can be viewed by clicking the checklist icon on the right side.

This icon is found on the right side of the Counter. When a map has more than one pin type, click this icon to see Counters for all pin types.

How to Build Bridges, Walls, and Ramps

Use Raw Materials

Pikmin 4 - Build Using Raw Materials

Raw Materials can be processed into Clay after rescuing Russ. This is then used to build constructions and more!

You can gather Raw Materials from the surface and within caves.

How to Get and Use Raw Materials

How to Complete Bridges

Build bridges by throwing your Pikmin at an incomplete one. The Pikmin will return to the S.S. Beagle to process Raw Materials into Clay.

Once completed, you can cross the bridge with your Pikmin and Oatchi!

How to Build Walls

Walls can be built similar to bridges. However, plan your next steps carefully because Oatchi cannot climb walls.

How to Construct Ramps

Build Ramps by throwing Pikmin at them, and they’ll do the rest! Just make sure that you have enough Raw Materials to complete the steps.
