List of Contents
You can use a Scrummy Bone to fully heal up Oatchi's HP. You can even give him more at full health to temporarily raise his max HP. Scrummy Bones can be found in your pack by holding Y.
Scrummy Bone Uses and How to Get
Scrummy Bones can be bought from Russ at the Lab for 3 Raw Materials or given as a bonus reward for training Oatchi with Shepherd.
Oatchi can be taught the Heal skill, which allows him to passively heal. Raising the heal level speeds up the recovery rate, allowing you to save up on Scrummy Bones.
Nectar isn't just for enhancing your Pikmin. Oatchi can drink nectar to restore some of his HP. He'll only take in enough until his health is full, so you can still use the rest for your Pikmin.
If Oatchi's health reaches zero, he'll be knocked out and sent back to your current base. This makes Oatchi unavailable until you return for him.
Once you arrive at the base, you'll find him sleeping to recover health over time. You can leave him until he's back at full health or rouse him to spring back into action with his current HP.
