Flarlic is a pale onion in Pikmin 4 that is used to increase your Max Pikmin Limit. Read on to learn all flarlic locations, how many of them are in the game, and what flarlic is.

Sun-Speckled Terrace

Only 2 flarlic can be found in the Sun-Speckled Terrace, the first explorable area after leaving the Rescue Command Post.
Sun-Speckled Terrace 100% Guide
Blossoming Arcadia

You can find 2 flarlic at the Blossoming Arcadia. This area is unlockable after you collect 1,500 sparklium.
Serene Shores

2 flarlic are found in this area. You can unlock Serene Shores at 4,000 sparklium!
Hero's Hideaway

 Defeat the enemy then collect the flarlic. |
2 flarlic are found in the Hero's Hideaway. Explore the area after obtaining 7,000 sparklium and rescuing Bernard.
Giant's Hearth

More flarlic are available in the Giant's Hearth. This area is unlocked after rescuing Olimar and getting 11,000 spaklium. If you already reached 100 Pikmin capacity, the flarlic will give you Nectar or Ultra-Spicy Nectar instead.
Primordial Thicket

 Defeat nearby enemies, then collect the flarlic. |
The last two flarlic can be found in the Primordial Thicket. Collect these as well for 100% completion!
How Many Flarlic are in Pikmin 4?
12 Flarlic
Each area has one flarlic on the surface and one flarlic in a cave. As there are 6 areas in Pikmin 4, you can collect up to 12 flarlic. These are all needed to reach 100% completion for the areas.
Once you collect 8 flarlic, however, you will hit the max PIkmin limit of 100. Any additional flarlic won't increase your capacity beyond 100, but you will get additional nectar.

Flarlic is used to increase max Pikmin Limit by 10 once it's absorbed by the Onion. However, you can bring up to 3 types of Pikmin only even with more flarlic.
