The Yellow Onion in Pikmin 4 can be obtained in the western area of the Sun-Speckled Terrace. Read on to learn how to get the Yellow Onion and its effects.

To get the Yellow Onion, you'll need to have encountered Yellow Pikmin in one of the caves in Sun-Speckled Terrace and have 20 Pikmin to carry it back.
You can find wild Yellow Pikmin in the Crackling Cauldron and the Industrial Maze caves.

| 1 |  Destroy the long electric gate with Yellow Pikmin. |
| 2 |  Proceed straight to the reach the location of the Yellow Onion blocked by a paper bag. |
| 3 |  Flatten the bag by throwing 10 Pikmin. |
| 4 |  Carry the Yellow Onion back to base, ideally to the Meandering Slope (Base 3). |
You can find the second Yellow Onion on the southwestern part of the map in Blossoming Arcadia. Use Yellow Pikmin to dig out the onion and transport it to the base.

Having the Yellow Onion as part of the onion ship in your base lets you produce Yellow Pikmin. You can produce them by retrieving pellets or enemies.
