Pikmin 4 - How to Switch to Oatchi

Switch to Oatchi in Pikmin 4 by selecting Switch from the actions menu. Our guide will show you how to switch to Oatchi!

How to Switch to Oatchi

Hold Y and Select Switch

You can switch to Oatchi by holding down Y to bring up the actions menu, then pressing the down button on the d-pad or left stick to select Switch. If you're on normal controls, confirm by pressing Y again. You can switch back to your character by repeating these steps.

Note that you can't switch to Oatchi while riding him, so you'll need to dismount him to switch and control him.

Switching is a useful feature since it lets Oatchi act as a second captain. Assign a d-pad button to Switch so you can instantly change between your character and Oatchi at the press of a button!
