How to Unlock You vs. Planet and Rewards

Rescue and Interact with Patch

Pikmin 4 - Patch Patch Unemployed
Home Planet: Flukuey
A true gambler who revels in the game of life and leaves it all up to fate. He came to this planet with high hopes and high stakes.

You vs. Planet is unlocked after rescuing Patch and interacting with him at the Rescue Command Post. He can be acquired by rescuing Leaflings in Dandori Battles and Challenges, then curing the leaflings with Glow Saps from Night Expeditions.

How to Get Patch

Get 60 Raw Materials as Reward

The side mission You vs. Planet will reward you with a total of 60 Raw Materials upon completion.

You vs. Planet Objective

Defeat 1000 Creatures

Pikmin 4 - Defeat Enemies

To complete the You vs. Planet side mission, you'll need to find and defeat 1000 creatures or enemies. They don't have to be unique, meaning repeats are counted as well.

Enemies are encountered while exploring maps and are usually a threat to you, Oatchi, and your Pikmin. You can take down these enemies using the combined force of Oatchi and the different types of Pikmin you can recruit.
