Serene Shores in Pikmin 4 has a set number of objectives that you need to achieve to complete it 100%. If you are stuck at 99% exploration, read on to learn how to complete the area, how to unlock it, as well as a list of all treasures, caves, castaways, and onions.

Serene Shores Map and How to Unlock

Serene Shores Interactive Map

The Interactive Map both shows the location of key points on the map, and doubles as a collectible checker.

  1. Click an icon on the right side to show all the pins of a specific type, or click the magnifying glass button to search for a specific pin by name.
  2. Click a pin on the map to see its name and description, and a relevant picture or video if available.
  3. From here, click Mark as Discovered to indicate that you've gotten a collectible already. This will change its icon on the map to show that it has been collected.
  4. To undo this, click on the same pin and click Restore to Undiscovered.

This button reveals the Name of every icon currently shown.
Full Button.png Fullscreen
This button will change the map display to fill the screen.
Search Button.png Search Mode Toggle
This button will display a searchbar which you can use to search for an individual pin by its name.

In Search Mode, this button will toggle you back to Icon Mode, removing the search bar and displaying the icons again.

Pikmin 4 - Find Foolish Fruit on Map

The Foolish Fruit is completely buried underground, so it doesn't show up in the map. It's found below the Sand Keep (Base 3), and you can command Oatchi to track its scent too.

Some treasures can only be collected when the water level lowers for the area. You'll have to wait until the middle of the day for the tide to lower so you can access other places on the map.

Pikmin 4 - Serene Shores Blue Onion

The Blue Onion is close to the Sand Keep (Base 3). You'll need 20 Blue Pikmin to get it since it's underwater.

You can find the flarlic underwater on the eastern corner of the map. Use your Blue Pikmin to defeat the clam then transport the onion back to the base.

Pikmin 4 - Seafloor Resort Flarlic Location

The flarlic is held by a hydro jelly in Sublevel 1 of the Seafloor Resort but is also close to a water spout. Shut off the valve with Blue Pikmin to allow your Ice Pikmin get the onion.
