Call Yellow Pikmin After Digging Treasures
Leave the digging to the Yellow Pikmin since they dig stuff up faster than other Pikmin types. Call them with the whistle, or if you're far away from them, with the Idler's Alert, and call them back to your squad.
Command the other Pikmin types in your squad, such as the White Pikmin or the Ice Pikmin, to collect the treasure you've previously dug up.
Collect Hidden Treasures
Some treasures aren't visible as you go around the arena, as you'll have to dig them up or get them from the golden bug.
When the golden bug shows up, throw Pikmin at it three times to make it drop the three treasures it's holding.
Freeze Water to Collect Treasures
Refrain from freezing the water with Ice Pikmin unless you're going to collect the treasures on the other side of the water.
Collect Treasures on High Ground Last
Treasures on the high ground require lots of Pikmin to carry, so it's best to put them at the lowest priority since you'll have many Pikmin in your squad after you're done with your tasks on the bottom floor.
Using the Plucking Whistle for Efficiency
There are a lot of buried Pikmin in this stage, and using the Plucking Whistle saves you time by a ton. For example, you are able to acquire the yellow Pikmin on the ledge earlier. However, the Plucking Whistle only unlocks after purchasing all the items in the lab and still costs additional raw materials. It is best to save up for it as it requires a lot of investment.

All trials of the Sage Leaf can be found when you enter the cave in the north part of the Rescue Command Post.
This cave is unlocked after finishing Olimar's Shipwreck Tale.
