As soon as the stage starts, collect pellets from nearby Pellet Posies and defeat enemies to bring them back to the onion and increase the number of Pikmin you'll be commanding. It's okay to ignore the treasures at first, as you'll prioritize increasing the number of Pikmin in your squad.
Having a lot of Pikmin will increase your efficiency in collecting items and defeating enemies.
There are treasures that require digging them up or behind breakable walls for them to be collected. Prioritize collecting treasures without much effort, such as strawberries and apples, simply by throwing Pikmin to get them.
There will be treasures too high for your Pikmin to reach. Ride Oatchi and use his Rush skill to knock down the treasures from the ledge.
Frequently look around the arena since treasures quickly respawn, waiting to be collected. Be fast and alert, as the treasure might get collected by the opposing squad!
It's recommended to zoom out the camera to see the whole arena easier.
Once the amount of Pikmin in your squad increases, try to steal the items your opponent is trying to carry. Taking away the items they're carrying will increase your own points and reduce your opponent's points!
Just like Castaways, Dandori Battles are not tied to a location except Leafy Showdown, which you'll always do in Hero's Hideaway. You're always going to do them in a specific order regardless of what area you are in.
Below is a list of all the possible locations where you can find the Dandori Battle, Trial Run.
All Trial Run Possible Locations | |

1 | Sun-Speckled Terrace |
2 | Blossoming Arcadia |
3 | Serene Shores |
Trial Run | Battle in a Box | Dandori Castle |
Leafy Showdown | Hot Sandy Duel | Final Battle |

Hey Game8, From my experience, the Dandori Battles are unlocked in an order (I’ve unlocked Trial Run in Blossoming Arcadia as my first Dandori Battle, Battle in a Box in Serene Shores as my second, and Dandori Castle in Sun-Speckled Terrace as my third). Just thought you should know. Thx for the guide though!
