Burn Straws, Get Winged Pikmin, and Defeat Enemies Collect Treasure in a Counterclockwise Pattern Let Oatchi Carry the Heavy Treasures Oatchi's Pluck Skill Saves Time

Burn Straws, Get Winged Pikmin, and Defeat Enemies

During the first half of the challenge, go around the arena in a counterclockwise pattern with three objectives in mind: burning straws, getting Winged Pikmin, and defeating enemies. You can get Winged Pikmin by throwing Red Pikmin on the pink flower buds. These will convert your Red Pikmin to Winged ones!

Burn straws by throwing a Red Pikmin on the bonfire altars to get a fire starter. These fire starters have a time limit, so be fast in burning the straws. You'll have a fire starter icon from your Pikmin selection. Choose it and throw it on a straw to burn it.

Have at least 20 Winged Pikmin

Since Winged Pikmin operate midair, they aren't affected by the conveyor belts on the ground. Keep this in mind and use it to your advantage.

Collect Treasure in a Counterclockwise Pattern

During the second half, follow the same counterclockwise pattern when collecting treasures, as you won't have as many obstacles since you've pretty much cleared them during the first half.

Use Winged Pikmin to transport the gold nuggets back to the S.S. Beagle, as they are not affected by the conveyor belts.

Let Oatchi Carry the Heavy Treasures

It's better to let Oatchi carry the big and heavy treasures and let your Pikmin transport the smaller treasures and the corpses of defeated enemies back to the S.S. Beagle.

Oatchi's Pluck Skill Saves Time

Having Oatchi learn his Pluck skill saves you time when plucking Winged Pikmin from the ground, giving you more time for other tasks. You can make do even with his Pluck only at Lvl. 1.
