Sun-Speckled Terrace in Pikmin 4 has a set number of objectives that you need to achieve to complete it 100%. If you are stuck at 99% exploration, read on to learn how to complete the area, how to unlock it, as well as a list of all treasures, caves, castaways, and onions.

Sun-Speckled Terrace Map and How to Unlock

Sun-Speckled Terrace Interactive Map

The Interactive Map both shows the location of key points on the map, and doubles as a collectible checker.

  1. Click an icon on the right side to show all the pins of a specific type, or click the magnifying glass button to search for a specific pin by name.
  2. Click a pin on the map to see its name and description, and a relevant picture or video if available.
  3. From here, click Mark as Discovered to indicate that you've gotten a collectible already. This will change its icon on the map to show that it has been collected.
  4. To undo this, click on the same pin and click Restore to Undiscovered.

This button reveals the Name of every icon currently shown.
Full Button.png Fullscreen
This button will change the map display to fill the screen.
Search Button.png Search Mode Toggle
This button will display a searchbar which you can use to search for an individual pin by its name.
Icon Mode Button.png Icon Mode Toggle
In Search Mode, this button will toggle you back to Icon Mode, removing the search bar and displaying the icons again.

Pikmin 4 - Potato Location

The Potato treasure is not shown on the Radar Map as it is buried underground. To find it, press and hold the Y Button to open the shortcut and select Command. On the next menu, select Treasure to command Oatchi to track the potato treasure.

Blue Onion

Pikmin 4 - Blue Onion Location

The Blue Onion is found south of the area and you need to freeze the water with 30 Ice Pikmin to proceed. You also need Oatchi's Buff upgraded to Lvl. 3 to carry the blue onion across the frozen water, as you won't have enough Pikmin to carry it back since the Ice Pikmin are occupied in freezing the water.

Pikmin 4 - Yellow Onion Location

The Yellow Onion is found on the west side of the map. You'll need Yellow Pikmin to break the electric wall and find a paper bag from afar as you enter the new area. The Yellow Onion is found in the area behind the paper bag.

The Flarlic in the Last-Frost Cavern can be obtained by digging it out of the pot. You should be able to find it on the westernmost side of the cave.

There is a Flarlic on the surface that requires throwing Yellow Pikmin to reach. Have them dig it out and bring it back to base.
