How to Defeat Male Sheargrub

Throw 2 or More Pikmin

The Male Sheargrub will eat Pikmin if not dealt with quickly, unlike its counterpart the Female Sheargrub.

Throwing only 1 Pikmin will also lead to it being eaten so make sure to throw 2 or more at the Male Sheargrub to defeat it.

DalmoDalmo's Log With its powerful jaws, the male Sheargrub can secure more food than the female. But it doesn't keep it all for itself. Right now, in the ground under our feet, mated Sheargrub pairs are sharing food with each other. What a generous snuggly grub!
OlimarOlimar's Log This specimen is a male Sheargrub. Having lost both legs and wings, the male burrows into the soil and waits to ambush small creatures that pass by. This beast's mandibles can be dangerous, making creatures such as Pikmin easy prey.
LouieLouie's Log Spread several specimens in the bottom of a casserole dish, layer with sliced avocado, and top with cheese. Bake until the meat is cooked through and the cheese is lusciously browned.
