DalmoDalmo's Log This cutie swims through the air with a heavy-looking nectar egg dangling below its translucent body on its way back to its nest where its offspring await lunch. Nectar is a vital source of nutrition that most life on this planet depends on. Whether it's in the form of an egg yolk, sap, or honey, I leave up to your imagination!
OlimarOlimar's Log This floating life-form drifts effortlessly on the winds. Upon death, its physical structure instantly collapses, and as the creature is particularly elusive and difficult to catch, no sample specimens have been acquired as of yet.
If we could simply recover a live sample, research on this species would likely proceed more smoothly...
LouieLouie's Log Although the eggs are small, the yolk has a distinctly bold and tangy flavor. Try tossing a few in a pan along with your choice of meat and fresh vegetables, and cook up a country scramble!

Honeywisps carry nectar eggs. Throwing a Pikmin at them will cause them to drop the egg, revealing the Nectar inside. Throw your Pikmin as quick as you can before it disappears!

Throw a Pikmin at the Egg

Pikmin 4 - Honeywisp Break Egg with Pikmin

Throw a Pikmin at the egg hanging from the Honeywisp. Once the cursor is aligned, you can lock on the target with the ZR button, making it easier to aim, and continuously throw Pikmin at it until it breaks. When you break the egg, Nectar and purple extract will appear on the ground.

Nectar Can Bloom Pikmin Flowers

The Nectar can be absorbed by Pikmin to bloom their flowers, allowing them to move faster. The Nectar can bloom flowers for 10 Pikmin.

How to Make Pikmin Flowers Bloom

Purple Extract Will Turn to Ultra-Spicy Spray

After making contact with the purple extract with your character or Oatchi, it will turn into Ultra-Spicy Spray, which can bloom the flower of all your Pikmin and temporarily provide a speed bonus.
