Aim for Its Weak Point

Pikmin 4 - Sunsquish Weak Point

The Sunsquish's weak point is the orange part of its head. Throw Pikmin directly at it since damage cannot be dealt elsewhere.

Take Advantage of the Lock-On Function

Lock on (ZR Button) the Sunsquish to hit its weak point. This is especially important when fighting multiple enemies at the same time.

Be Careful of Eggs

The Sunsquish can sometimes pop out of eggs. While eggs usually contain Nectar and Ultra-Spicy Spray, they can sometimes hold enemies as well. Stay on your toes and have your Pikmin ready when breaking eggs.

OlimarOlimar's Log A type of primitive organism called a protochordate. In its juvenile state, it has a skeleton-like structure called a notochord. It flaps its finned tail to move and lives within other creatures' eggs as it grows.
As its body develops, it starts to exhibit mollusk-like qualities, but its highly exposed external stomach can directly digest prey on contact and can also be used for locomotion.
