This is a walkthrough for the Save Arabella sidequest in Baldur's Gate 3. Read on to learn how to unlock the quest, where to find Arabella and how to save her, and the rewards you'll get from finishing the quest!

How to Start Save Arabella

Head to the Emerald Grove

You can start this quest by heading following the path from The Hollow into the Emerald Grove where you'll see a confrontation between the Tiefling Refugees and the Druids will take place.

After the cutscene, speak with either Komira or Locke and they'll ask you to help them save their daugther Arabella.

Talk to Jeorna Enter the Stone Door Confront Kagha Convince Kagha to Spare Arabella Return to Locke and Komira

Talk to Jeorna

Head down the path and talk to Jeorna who will bar you from entering the grove, You can reply however you want as the other druid, Mino, will convince her to let you pass regardless.

Enter the Stone Door

Go to the northwest corner of the grove and through the Stone Slab to access the inner sanctum of the Emerald Grove.

Confront Kagha

Head inside to find Kagha interogatting Arabella about a stolen idol and using her snake, Teela, to threaten her.

Start the dialogue by choosing either "Thief? Poison? What's this girl's actual crime?" or "Imprison her? She's just a child." to open up another set of dialogue options to convince her.

Convince Kagha to Spare Arabella

You will have several dialogue options to choose from that will depend on your Race, Class, and Proficiency Bonuses.

We recommend choosing the option your character is most proficient in so that you have a higher chance to convince Kagha to spare Arabella.

For example, Fighters will have an easier time using Intimidation while Druids will have several unique and easier Nature dialogue options.

Note: If you Stay Silent or fail any of the persuasion checks, Arabella will die after getting bit by Teela.

Return to Locke and Komira

After convincing Kagha to stand down, head back outside and return to Locke and Komira who will reward you for saving their daugther.

Note: If you fail to save Arabella, you can still report back to Locke and Komira to complete the quest but they will not reward you with anything.

Save Arabella Rewards

Komira's Locket

Completing the sidequest and successfully saving Arabella will reward you Komira's Locket, a unique amulet that allows you to cast Dancing Lights spell.

Mol's Trust

Saving Arabella also earns you Mol's trust, which will give you good standing with her when you visit her hideout in the Emerald Grove.

This trust extends to Act II, where she vouches for you when first entering The Last Light Inn after being confronted by Jaheira.

What Happens If Arabella Dies?

Kagha Dies During the Camp Party

If Arabella dies and you successfully saved the First Druid Halsin from the Goblin forces, then Kagha will die during the camp party after being poisoned by Locke and Komira.

Can't Continue Arabella's Questline

Failing to save Arabella locks you out of her questline in Act II where she will ask you to find her parents and will become a temporary resident of your camp for the duration of the quest.
