Find the Missing Letters is a side quest in Baldur's Gate 3 (BG3) involving Gale's Tressym and missing messenger pigeons. See how to clear the objectives and rewards in this side quest, as well as how to get a Ring of Blink.

Sword Coast Couriers is found right across the Open Hand Temple and just before the South Span Checkpoint.
Head inside and speak to Danzo Arkwright behind the counter and offer to help find the missing letters to initiate the side quest.

Head inside the door to the left of Danzo and go upstairs. Sitting on top of a barrel is a pigeon, and you'll need to use the spell Speak With Animals or drink a Potion of Animal Speaking to start a dialogue with it.
You'll find out that it is the leader of a group of pigeons, and they have gone missing. Volunteer to help find its missing comrades and it instruct you to search for them on the roof of the Open Hand Temple.
Speak With Animals Spell Guide and Effects
Head inside the Open Hand Temple and into the kitchen on the right side. Exit the building through the door and climb the knotted roots.
Talk to the cat, Tara, sitting on a nest. You'll have to pass some skill checks to make Tara stop eating the pigeons and leave the nest. Once she leaves, you can pick up the Bundle of Letters in her nest.
If you have Gale in your party, you'll learn that they are acquaintances. You can ask Gale to tell her to stop messing with the pigeons. She will then leave, allowing you to freely pick up the Bundle of Letters, and give Gale a Ring of Blink.
Go back to Danzo and hand him the letters. He will give you some gold for your troubles and you'll complete this side quest. You can also persuade him to give you more.
If you read the letters, you'll learn about some shady business with the Zhentarim. When you talk to Danzo, you'll unlock more dialogue options where you can deceive, intimidate, or persuade him.
If you succeed with the skill check, he Danzo will give you double the gold for your silence.
Aside from the gold given by Danzo, you can get a Ring of Blink from Tara if you brought Gale to the Open Hand Temple roof.
The Ring of Blink grants the ability to vanish into the Ethereal Plane, allowing its user to become immune to damage and teleport a short distance.
