Throwing an Ice Blast can freeze enemies caught in its explosion. It can even freeze water!

You can purchase the Ice Blast from Russ at the Lab for 8 Raw Materials once you reach a total of 1500 Sparklium.
You can access Ice Blast from your pack by holding Y and then pressing the right d-pad button. From here you can select the Ice Blast to use it.
For quick access to the Ice Blast, you can assign it to a shortcut. This will let you use the item immediately.
