Get Radiation Resistance from Armor Instead

It's easy to counter radiation with the effects of armor or Hazmat Suits and items like RadAway or Rad-Ex. It's not worth getting because of those reasons, and it's better to get other perks instead of it.

Rank 2 13 You now have +20 Radiation Resistance.

How to Get Rad Resistant

Unlock Rad Resistant at Endurance 6

Fallout 4 Rad Resistant Perk
Rad Resistant is on Endurance Level 6

The Rad Resistant perk is unlocked when your Endurance is at Level 6. You can start at this level by assigning 6 points to Endurance during the Registration Form at the start of the game. Otherwise, you can get to this level by collecting SPECIAL magazines or bobbleheads and spending perk points upon level up.

After getting to Endurance 6, you're free to spend perk points on ranking up the skill, as long as you are at the required character level to rank up.
