How to Unlock AAA for Effort

Complete The Falling Wall

Borderlands 4 AAA for Effort Location

You need to complete The Falling Wall main mission first before unlocking AAA for Effort.

Once unlocked, head to Hydrus Sublab, located north of Terminus Region in Dominion. From there, go northwest and enter the vent on the side of the building and interact with the marked console to start the side mission.

Enter Ordonite Smelting Plant

# Walkthrough
1
Borderlands 4 Ordonite Smelting Plant Location
Follow the marked objective south to the Ordonite smelting plant. Once there, interact with the console next to the large door.

Borderlands 4 Order Forces Attack
Enemies will then attack you. Clear the area to proceed.
3 Max Sky will ask you to look for materials to open the door. You don’t have to do this. Just wait for a moment and he’ll remember the code to the door. Once he does, return to the console to open it.

Borderlands 4 Enter Plant
Enter the smelting plant and follow the marked objective to the vent. Use your grappling hook to remove the grille and slide down.

Borderlands 4 Climb Up
Grapple up another vent to the next room, then climb up using the ladder and jump to the climbable wall on the right.

Borderlands 4 Grapple Up
Climb up the wall to the platform, then jump onto the crates and climb another wall. Jump to the right, then use your grappling hook to lift yourself up to the next platform.

Borderlands 4 Conveyor Belt
Follow the conveyor belt to the control room.

Borderlands 4 First Power Bank
Head to the left side of the room and press the button on the terminal to activate the first power bank. Be careful, as there are enemies in the area.

Borderlands 4 Second Power Bank
From there, head left to the next terminal and press the button to activate the second power bank.

Borderlands 4 Third Power Bank
Head right to the last terminal and press the button to activate the third power bank.

Borderlands 4 Ordonite Battery Dispensers
Once all power banks have been activated, go to the terminal on the upper level and press the button to activate Ordonite battery dispensers.

Borderlands 4 Open Door
Follow the marked objective to the large door and press the button to open it.

Borderlands 4 Battery Dispenser
In the next room, use your grappling hook to pull an Ordonite battery from the container on the right and place it on the dispenser next to the large door to open it.
3 Leave the smelting plant and return to Max Sky in Hydrus Sublab, where you first accepted the mission.

Borderlands 4 Ordonite Reactor
Pull another Ordonite battery from the container on the right and climb up the Ordonite reactor from behind. Place the battery on the marked spot.

Borderlands 4 Thruster Covers
Press the button below to turn on the reactor, then open the two thruster covers using your grappling hook.

Borderlands 4 Flip the Switch
Lastly, flip the switch on the terminal to open the roof. This will complete the mission.
