The Amon Leveling Build combines the raw tankiness of Amon with the Freezing skills of Scourge to inflict Cryo status effects on enemies.
Due to this build's reliance on Vengeance, the main weakness of this build stems from its Long Action Cooldowns, especially without late-game investments such as Firmwares and Specializations.

The Scourge build uses the Vengeance skill tree alongside the Firewall action skill to supercharge Amon's tankiness and devastating Cryo status effect damage.

The Amon Scourge build starts in the Vengeance tree by investing in The Thrill for health sustain, especially in the early levels. From there, put points into Scorched Kairos to boost DPS and Wrath of Nature to strengthen Cryo status effects.
As you begin finding stronger Ordnances and Elemental Weapons, add points into Tail of the Comet to further enhance your elemental DPS. Forgewave blasts count as Ordnance damage, so this will significantly buff the Scourge action skill.

Invest in passives in the starting until you reach Wildfire at level 17 to max it out. Then, max Ballistic Bulwark, the core skill of this build, to gain nearly unlimited overshields when dealing Ordnance damage and tank through any encounter.
With Ballistic Bulwark at 5 points, round out the build by filling in Cryo and elemental damage passives for maximum effectiveness.

At level 6, Cryonic Thrum is an excellent augment for co-op, providing a taunt to draw aggro and healing for allies. If you’re playing solo, take Blastchill instead.
At level 16, Eternal Winter becomes the best choice, as using Forgewaves extends your Action Skill duration. This allows you to keep your shield active for longer, absorbing more damage and striking back harder.

Sweet Embrace is one of the best weapons you can use when using the Leveling Amon build. Using a Sweet Embrace with a Cryo Element allows Amon to deal massive damage to enemies, with Adoration firing in a square pattern.
We recommend looking for a Sweet Embrace with a Radiation or Shock as a secondary element to deal with enemy shields.
Best Manufacturer for Amon: Maliwan
Maliwan excels at applying elemental status effects, especially Cryo versions that enemies with powerful bursts of cryo or other elemental damage, especially when using a Maliwan shotgun. Frozen enemies also take significantly more melee damage, making them easy to finish off.

Shotguns are a perfect fit for this Amon build. You’ll often be up close drawing enemy attention, and shotguns deliver high point-blank damage. A Cryo shotgun in close-range combined with some melee attacks can quickly take out most foes.

We recommend Synthesizer for optimizing your Status Effect Damage, especially Cryo Forgewave damage, while Transfuser is excellent for clearing mobs, which can be very useful when farming bosses in Drill Sites.

Save Scourge for Elite Enemies
Be careful not to overuse your Scourge Shield and Firewall since they come with longer cooldowns. Save them for Elite Badasses, boss fights, or when you’re in a tough spot. Regular enemies can be taken down effectively with your weapons and ordnance, and you are already tanky with the right passives.
Prioritize Cryo Status Effects
Amon is a monster in dealing Cryo damage and is one of your most effective ways to wipe out mobs and elites with this build. Stack status effect boosting Passives such as Wrath of Nature to get the most out of your elemental weapons and skills.
Complete Side Missions and Bounties
To farm EXP efficiently, accept Side Missions and Bounties whenever possible, instead of just aimlessly wandering the map.
Side Missions and Bounties reward you with EXP upon completion, and most of these require you to fight various enemies, allowing you to gain EXP from multiple sources per mission.
Best Amon Scourge Build Playstyle
Cryo Damaging Tank
This build maximizes Amon’s tankiness by focusing on his shield and cryo power. Charge into the thick of battle, as the damage absorbed by your shield fuels your Forgewaves. Up close, you can melee the frozen enemies for huge burst damage. In co-op, this setup also makes you the team’s best tank, drawing aggro and creating space for your allies to deal damage.
Synergize the Scourge Shield and Firewall
Use the Scourge action skill together with the Firewall, as projectiles that pass through the wall deal increased damage. With the Eternal Winter augment, this combo becomes especially effective for wiping out large swarms of enemies or bosses.

Anonymous about 2 monthsid branch over and take heavy plate and gut punch. Max those out for the extra shield benefits. Might have to short skill points somewhere else but I stayed away from tail of the comet skill
