The Moxxi Big Encore vending machine lets you farm boss fights for loot. Spending money here is one of the most reliable ways to grind for weapons and gear, especially at higher levels.

Visit the Respec Machine to respec your skill points in their skill trees. This costs money but lets you experiment with different builds and strategies without starting over. This will cost 10% of your total Cash.
These Respec Machine can be found in The Launchpad, which is an area unlocked during the Down and Outbound Main Mission.

Dropping cash into Moxxi’s tip jar is another way to score random weapons. When tipping in $100 or $1,000 increments, you'll get a chance to either be rewarded with a Sweet Embrace Shotgun or Cold Shoulder Assault Rifle.
This is an easy way to farm good weapons on your level.

Vending machines let you buy ammo, shields, grenades, and weapons on the fly. They are also good for selling Junk loot that you've found while in missions.
Equipment sold in vending machines are usually not unique when it comes to their passive effects. Due to this, it is more recommended to grind for them instead of buying ones in the vending machines, unless you need a higher level weapon with good effects.

When you die, your character respawns at the closest New-U station but at the cost of 10% of your current cash. This mechanic won’t stop you from continuing, but it makes death more of a setback since you’ll have to grind that money back while also replaying from the checkpoint.
