This is a walkthrough for the The Importance of Being Furnished side mission in Borderlands 4. Follow this guide to locate the assembly instructions and chair parts to complete the mission.

To start The Importance of Being Furnished, you must have finished the main mission A Lot to Process.
After completing the mission, talk to Wrenching Allen at Belton's Bore in The Low Leys area of the Terminus Range region. He should be at his workbench.

| 1 | Talk to Wrenching Allen, who will task you with finding the assembly instructions for a chair in three different places: in the trash, the laundry, and the grill in that order. The trash and the laundry are located inside Belton's Bore, while the grill is outside. |
| 2 | ![]() From your current position by Wrenching Allen's workbench, if you look at the opposite side, you can find the trash and the laundry in the same area. You may glide over or take the stairs to go there. |
| 3 | ![]() ![]() Search the trash. Beside the left trash bin (pictured) are stairs. Go down the steps to see another set of stairs leading up to the laundry. Search the washing machines. |
| 4 | ![]() From the laundry area, you can jump over the rail to land at the bottom level of Belton's Bore. Exit the area to find the grill. You may summon ECHO-4 to trace the precise path to the grill. |
| 5 | ![]() ![]() Go down the snowy slopes and open the grills by the rocks. If you have not completed Never Meet Your Heroes yet, the grills are located below the slope Hunter is on. |
| 6 | After opening the grills, enemies will ambush you. Kill them all. |

| 1 | ![]() Returning to Belton's Bore, you will find the first chair part leaning on the wall by the entrance. |
| 2 | ![]() On the way back inside Belton's Bore, the second chair part should be lying against a box by a stall. |
| 3 | ![]() ![]() Upon re-entering the bottom level of Belton's Bore, turn right to see the third chair part leaning against a crate. |
| 4 | ![]() Still on the bottom level, go to the left side of the area until you see an open room with faint purple light outside of it. Look inside the room to find the fourth chair part on the floor. Proceed to the stairs nearby to get the last chair part. |
| 5 | ![]() ![]() You will find yourself back to where the trash bins are. Turn left to find stairs leading to the fifth chair part lying against the wall. |
