One of this build's biggest strengths is how easy it is to use, as all you need to do is stack Gyrojets on the boss. Stacked enough, this can take down both bosses and non-boss enemies.
Its biggest downside, however, is that it relies on stacking Gyrojets, which can take a while to stack. Additionally, the stacking and damage can be interrupted, either by Fight For Your Life ending the unlimited ammo, or by the boss becoming invulnerable, stopping the damage burst. Lastly, the build lacks survivability outside of your shields and Repkit.

From Levels 1-30, your goal is to stack points in the Remote Agent Tree until you unlock Bullet-Buddy Deluxe and Volatile Hollowpoints. Once Volatile Hollow Points is unlocked, with the skills equipped leading up to it, you should reach a point where you can effectively farm bosses alone.
From Level 31 onwards, take skills that will improve your runs significantly, both in clear times and survivability. Asymmetric Warfare further increases the damage your turrets deal, while The Thrill andLas Jaras both improve Rafa's Overdrive state. Lastly, Resiliencia provides additional survivability whenever you are in Overdrive.

A lot of Rafa's damage outside of his turrets will come from Bullet-Buddy Deluxe and its infinite ammo buff. Partnered with a high fire rate weapon, and you will be able to continuously rain bullets on your enemies while the turrets are present.

Volatile Hollowpoints will not only increase the damage that Rafa's turret deals, but they will now also deal splash damage, making them perfect for taking down mobs of enemies. This is especially useful when fighting bosses that summon minions.

The Kaoson is perhaps the best weapon for Rafa in this build, thanks to its interaction with Bullet-Buddy Deluxe. The Kaoson is a Vladof Submachine Gun that will always come with a Torgue-Licensed Sticky Magazine, which allows it to fire sticky Gyrojets that explode upon reloading.
This means that while Bullet-Buddy Deluxe is active, Rafa can continuously shoot sticky Gyrojets at enemies without any of them detonating. Once Bullet-Buddy Deluxe runs out, and Rafa reloads for the first time, the stuck Gyrojets will all explode within a short amount of time. This sudden burst of damage is enough to take down bosses that do not have invulnerability windows.
Best Manufacturer for Rafa: Vladof
Vladof weapons have high ammo capacity and high fire rates, making them the perfect weapons to use while Bullet-Buddy Deluxe is active. Look for Vladoffs that have the Torgue-Licensed Sticky Magazine as this is essential to the build. If you can, also look for those with an Atlas-Licensed Underbarrel that shoots Trackers. This will make it easier to hit moving enemies with the sticky Gyrojets.
Best Weapon Type for Rafa: Assault Rifles and SMGs
The high ammo capacity and high fire rates of Vladof weapons are important if you want to attach as many sticky Gyrojets to the boss you are farming before your Bullet-Buddy Deluxe expires. As such, look for Vladof Assault Rifles and Submachine Guns.

The Transmitter is one of the best Grenades for Rafa as it acts like a turret when thrown. Simply throw the Grenade toward where enemies are, and it will float in the air, shooting projectiles at nearby enemies.
Best Class Mod
Instigator is the best Class Mod for Peacebreaker Cannons Rafa, as it provides a stacking buff to Rafa's Gun Damage whenever his Peacebreaker Cannons hit an enemy. This is especially useful when fighting bosses, as you will likely only be targeting the boss, allowing you to get the maximum amount of stacks.

As you will not have much survivability with this build, bringing a defensive shield like the Onion is ideal. Its 2-second invulnerability is especially helpful, as preventing a Fight For Your Life will allow you to stick more Gyrojets to the boss.

Atlas Infinum is the best Firmware for Peacebreaker Cannons Rafa, as it buffs the Kaoson in multiple ways. Not only does it provide Gun Fire Rate while the Atlas Target Lock is active, but it also provides +10% Damage to Guns with Atlas-Licensed parts.
Perhaps the strongest buff it gives, however, is the infinite duration of the Atlas Target Lock, allowing you to stack Gyrojets on the boss you are farming easily.

We recommend taking the following Specializations, investing first in Brute until you unlock Riddle You This. Afterward, invest ten points in Sharpshooter to unlock In The Zone, and another ten points in Runner to unlock the Daredevil branch. Once Daredevil is unlocked, invest twenty points in it to unlock I Am A Gun and A Honed Mind.
These Passive Skills will buff your Gun Damage, as well as the effectiveness of your Action Skill, making them hit harder whenever they are activated. Additionally, the points you invest in the different branches provide Gun Damage, Reload Speed, and Accuracy, as well as Movement Speed, Melee Damage, and Action Skill Cooldown Rate.
Once you have the needed Passives, invest more Specialization points into Brute for more Gun damage and Sharpshooter for better Reload Speed and Accuracy.

Use the Tracker Underbarrel
The Tracker Underbarrel makes it easier to stack sticky Gyrojets on your target, so make sure to shoot it at your target whenever it is available.
Time Your Action Skill Well
As you only have a limited time in your damage window, make sure to time your Action Skill well. Great times to use your Action Skill and start your damage window include right after a boss or strong enemy arrives in the arena or while the boss is stunned after a mechanic.
Best Rafa (Exo-Solder) Build Playstyle
Optimized for Boss Farming
This Rafa build is specifically designed for Boss Farming, putting heavy investment in Rafa's damage, as well as his turret's.
Through our testing, Normal Bosses in Hard difficulty can be cleared in less than 1 minute under optimized conditions, and approximately 1:45 for tankier bosses such as Vault Guardians, and Auger Mine Bosses.
How to Farm Bosses
Viable for Mob Clearing and Leveling
Thanks to its AoE Capabilities from Volatile Hollowpoints, as well as the high ammo capacity and fire rate of Vladof guns, this build can still be used for leveling and clearing the story.
