| How to Find Shrek Easter Egg | |

| 1 | ![]() The Easter Egg is found in Idolator's Noose, near the Tipping Point Bunker and Wyclef's Reprieve. You can head over to Wyclef's Reprieve first to get a vantage point of the location. |

This Easter Egg references Patricia Tannis who was present in previous Borderlands titles, from Borderlands 1 up to 3, including The Pre-Sequel. It also references the previous Easter Eggs of her riding on a fish.

In the Side Mission No Place Like Home, the Facility Keycard that drops from a target objective will have a line referencing the calling card scene in American Psycho (2000). Make sure you do not pick up the keycard first to bring up its tooltip.
This objective will be located at The Flarewell Order base, which is to the south of the Hungering Plain. You will need to be doing the side mission in order for this Facility Keycard to become available.

This Easter Egg can be found near the Gushing Turret in The Howl. Upon completing the related side mission, you will be rewarded with a Vault Hunter Head Cosmetic which is a Thresher sock puppet with googly eyes.

This is a small Easter Egg referencing the 'Redrum' line, which is 'Murder' in reverse, in The Shining (1980). The side mission Hangover Helper can also be started at Shammy's Shack.

Moxxi's Tip Jar can be found over at Moxxi's Bottoms Up! Bar in Terminus Range near Carcadia. Tipping this jar multiple times can have her randomly reward you with Legendary weapons.

Zane from Borderlands 3 (2019) and makes a return in this game, serving as a bodyguard to Mad Moxxi. The related non-repeatable side mission Vend of the Line, which rewards you with 1 Legendary weapon costing only 1 cash, can be started in Carcadia within the Carcadia Burns region.
Note that this Easter Egg secret involves the achievement All Things Vend, which requires you to sell 3 green rarity items to the Legendary Vending Machine first before buying 1 legendary item from it.

This side mission references the boss character GenIVIV in Borderlands 3, as well as the popular culture reference of the Bat Signal used by the DC Comics character Batman.

This side mission references the Space Jam (1996) movie and features the returning Borderlands Pre-Sequel (2014) and Borderlands 3 (2019) character Dunks Watson.

The Flat Kairoser Easter Egg mimics the culture surrounding the real-life Flat Earth theory. Completing this side mission will reward you with a Vault Hunter Style and an ECHO-4 Paint Job.

The Vault Hunter's Choice Awards is a style for both the Vault Hunter and ECHO-4, and is unlocked for any character by killing 150 enemies with a Shield. One way this can be done are through shields that have the effects Missile Swarm or Mini Nova.
This Easter Egg references the real-life Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, and can be seen on the splatter effect of the style which is a gimmick of the show.

Numerous title and other popular culture references can be spotted by looking into the characters' skill tree. For example, Harlowe's Resonance Cascade is a reference to a pivotal event in the Half Life (1998) video game, along with Force of Will being the name of a known Blue counterspell card in the trading card game Magic: The Gathering.

Scattered around the map are the elusive Marcus Bobbleheads that give 100 XP when interacted with (Flicked). Explore every nook and cranny of Kairos to find these bobbleheads. It is known there are around 200 Bobbleheads in the game.

Bok bok! The reference is in the weapon's effect instead: '621' is the protagonist's pilot name in Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon (2023). The 'Raven' in Ravenfire is a callsign held also by 621, and is often attributed to mercenaries who pilot Armored Cores in the series. |

I believe the Stray Red Text is a play on catching a stray and Catch-A-Ride. They specifically add the dashes in between and elongate the vowel, which Ell always did. Made me giggle when I saw it and I immediately heard it in her voice.
