How to Unlock Abandoned Auger Mines
Complete Shadow of the Mountain Main Mission
Abandoned Auger Mines are unlocked after completing the Shadow of the Mountain Main Mission. You'll complete this mission at around levels 18-20 as one of the three that you can complete after the 4th Main Mission, A Lot to Process.

Red Seal and Clave-Locked Notice
You may discover Abandoned Auger Mines early in the game. If you happen to find it early, you'll encounter a red seal with a “???” interaction and receive a Clave-Locked notice stating to “find your clave and earn your name.”
Abandoned Auger Mines Rewards
Rewards 40 SDU Upon Initial Clear
Clearing an Abandoned Auger Mine for the first time rewards you with 40 SDU Tokens. These tokens can be used to purchase storage upgrades for your Ammo, Backpack, Bank, or Lost Loot capacity.
Farmable Boss for Powerful Gear
Each Abandoned Auger Mine contains a unique boss that drops a variety of high-quality gear. These bosses also have a chance to drop unique Legendary Weapons and other valuable items.
Vehicle Cosmetic for Completing All Bunkers
Clearing all seven Abandoned Auger Mines completes the Dig, Delve, Discover Challenge. This rewards you with a Vehicle Cosmetic along with generous amounts of experience, cash, and Eridium.

Contains Vending Machines
Each Abandoned Auger Mine includes multiple Vending Machines primarily used to restock your ammo. Occasionally, they may offer useful gear for purchase, especially the featured Item of the Day.
