How to Unlock Drone Ranger

Borderlands 4 - Droning On Side Mission Location

To start Drone Ranger, you must first finish the side missions Carried Away and Droning On.

After finishing both side missions, you may go to Dissected Plateau and find a farmhouse. Talk to Ryely in a vent to the side off the house, behind a fence.

Bring Ryely Back to Its Target

Borderlands 4 - Ryely Location
Talk to Ryely at Dissected Plateau somewhere off to the side of a farmhouse, behind a fence and inside a vent.
2 Free Ryely from the vent by melee hitting it. After freeing Ryely, it will request you to jump. Failing to obey its order will not do anything, as it will only criticize you.

Borderlands 4 - Drone Ranger Ryely Target Site
Take Ryely to the location marked on the map, slightly southeast of your current position.

At the target location, place Ryely on the site with a wooden grave marker and purple flowers.
