Borderlands 4 Overwriting a Wrong
This is a walkthrough for the Overwriting a Wrong side mission in Borderlands 4. Follow this guide to clear the objectives and find out how to upload the virus without accidentally tripping it.

How to Unlock Overwriting a Wrong

Borderlands 4 Terry Location

To start Overwriting a Wrong, you must have finished the main mission Means of Ascent.

Once done, talk to Terry at the entrance to a drone factory at the southern part of Carcadia District in the Dominion region.

Overwriting a Wrong Walkthrough

Find a Complete Drone

# Walkthrough
1 Talk to Terry and take the ECHO log from him.

Borderlands 4 Enter the Drone Factory
Run ahead of Terry and use your grappling hook on the ledge to enter the drone factory.
3 Inside the factory, kill all the enemies.

Borderlands 4 Drone on the Truck
After killing all the enemies, go to the marked drone on a truck. Upload the virus to the drone. While waiting for the virus to be uploaded, the objective will fail automatically.
5 To successfully upload the virus, you will have to find three jammers in the vicinity.

Borderlands 4 First Jammer
The first jammer can be found at the end of the room. From your position on the truck, head north to find the jammer and hack it with ECHO-4.

Borderlands 4 First Jammer Nodes
The jammer will then beam red holographic triangles. You must shoot all these nodes.

Borderlands 4 Second Jammer
The second jammer is to the right of the first one. At this point, Order forces will arrive. Kill them all.

Hack the second jammer. This time, blue spheres will appear alongside the red nodes. Do not shoot the blue nodes as this will restart the process.

Borderlands 4 Third Jammer
The third jammer is in a room above the ground. Follow the marked objective until you see an area of the factory with two inverted triangles at the top. Enter the area then look up to use your grappling hook on the ledge. Find the third jammer and hack it.

Once again, only shoot the red nodes.

Upload the Virus to the Drone

# Walkthrough
1 Return to the inactive drone to upload the virus. Kill the Order forces while waiting for the upload to reach 100% completion.

With the upload complete, you will have to shoot the red nodes again.

It is preferable to kill all the enemies first before shooting the nodes so as to avoid accidentally shooting the blue spheres. This is especially the case for AoE attacks.

Also, note that there will be a Witness drone hovering by the nodes. If you do not kill the Witness, or fail to shoot the red nodes quickly, the Witness will spawn more red nodes. Carefully shoot the Witness' shield before killing it. Then, shoot all the red nodes before another Witness spawns.
3 After shooting all the red nodes, wait for the inactive drone to compile its codes. Kill the next wave of Order forces.

Borderlands 4 Attacker Drone
In this wave, the blue nodes will remain above the drone. Take care not to accidentally interrupt the compiling process by shooting them. If the process is interrupted, progress will pause (not reset to zero) and will not resume until after you eliminate the red nodes again.

With this in mind, it is preferable to fight away from the inactive drone until all enemies have been eliminated.

Like before, kill the remaining Witness drone to prevent it from adding more red nodes.
4 Wait for the codes to be compiled. Once it is finished, the Witnesses in the factory will turn non-hostile. This will end the mission.
