Radiation Damage can be dealt by elemental weapons and skills in Borderlands 4. Learn how to get Radiation weapons and what Radiation skills are available for Vault Hunters.

The Radiation element can be found on weapons and ordnance, and these are randomly obtained as loot or bought from Vending Machines. Radiation deals Damage-Over-Time (DoT), but has the added effect of spreading this DoT to other nearby enemies and target death resulting in an explosion.
You should farm bosses via Moxxi's Big Encore in any completed boss arena for more chances in getting Radiation loot that's at your current level.

Radiation is a strong element against Shield health bars and is suitable against Flesh targets. Its unique effect over other elements is that its DoT spreads to surrounding enemies, and will cause an explosion on the DoT source's death. This makes a good element to have for chaining AoE elemental damage.
Weapons with the Radiation element can be sometimes found across manufacturers, but it is commonly found in guns manufactured by Maliwan.
