How to Start How Rush Saved Mercenary Day
Interact with Presents in Towns
To start How Rush Saved Mercenary Day, you'll need to go to towns and interact with a present there. The easiest one to access should be The Launchpad. This should give you the side mission called The War on Mercenary Day. If you don't see a present or a quest marker, you may need to progress further in the main missions before it unlocks.
As for the rest of the content, they should be available simply by updating. The Vault Card for this bounty pack should already be unlocked and can be progressed without starting the side mission.

Four (4) new legendary weapons are available through the Happy Mercenary Day! Vault Card. Each one is purchased for 10 tickets and can be bought again. To get more Vault Card tickets, you simply have to play through the game and get more as you level it up. You can also do the daily and weekly challenges to earn more.

Three (3) new legendary gear are also available with the update. These are obtained by defeating the boss from the end of The War on Mercenary Day.
How Rush Saved Mercenary Day Bosses
Minister Screw and Donk
New bosses, Minister Screw and Donk, are introduced at the end of the new side mission. You can rematch them again through Moxxi's Encore Machine to obtain the new legendaries.

A new vehicle called Trident is available for all players after starting the first main mission. This can be claimed from the Sleigh, Queen rewards in your inventory.
